About Elena

I became a therapist because I wished, growing up, that someone had asked me better questions. The kind that don’t try to fix you. The kind that help you actually hear yourself.

That’s what I try to bring to my work — a slower pace, a lot of warmth, and a real curiosity about who you are when you’re not performing for anyone. I’m collaborative, occasionally funny, and I won’t sit in silence and nod for fifty minutes. We’ll figure things out together.

Outside of sessions I’m probably gardening badly, reading something dense, or trying to convince my dog that walks are non-negotiable.

Areas of focus

Most of the people I work with come in around one of these. It's just a starting point — we don't have to stay there.

Anxiety

For when your mind won’t stop running through every conversation you’ve ever had at 2am.

Relationship issues

Communication that’s gone sideways, distance that’s grown quietly, or the same fight on repeat.

Life transitions

New job, new city, new chapter, new identity — the in-between spaces where you’re not quite who you were.

Childhood trauma

Sorting through what you carried from your family of origin that isn’t yours to carry anymore.

Burnout

When your worth has gotten tangled up with your output, and rest feels like failure.

Self-esteem

The quiet, persistent feeling that you’re not quite enough — and what’s actually underneath it.
